and has built a diverse fan base with the help of his latest reinforced

project Friday Night Lights. During the release, the internet slowed 

for a period of time, he was a trending topic on Twitter and the list

Getting the second play is an artist out of Toronto, Ontario going by 

the name of Ohshawn. He is signed to the independent label GSX 

Music and has gained a growing buzz after releasing his project

The Book Of (O). Not only does he have members on his team like

the talented producer Xpress but he is the face of the prestigious 

WhoisGSX.com. Ohshawn and the next artist are next up to blow 

up in 2011. Be on the lookout for the highly anticipated (O)dition.

Getting the third play is an artist out of Memphis, Tennessee going by

the name Layne Harper. He is signed to Def Jam Universal Records

and has recently received major co signs from the industry's finest. 

Initially catching recognition with his project Life In The Fast Layne.

Following that release came records produced by Lex Luger, Boi-1da,

Kanye West & Q-Tip. Layne's presence on songs is improving every

time he enters a studio making him a runner up with Ohshawn for 2011.

Getting the fourth play is an artist out of Compton, California going

by the name Kendrick Lamar. He is signed to the independent label

Top Dawg Entertainment and has been representing the West Coast.

So much that the legendary Dr.Dre recently reached out to Kendrick 

wanting him for the long delayed DETOX album. A project going by

(O)verly (D)edicated was were Kendrick witnessed the most uplifting

recognition trailing behind Friday Night Lights for project of the year.

He also belongs to a group called Black Hippy consisting of artists Jay 

Rock, Ab-Soul & Schoolboy Q. Most of his records are Mixed by Ali.
